Terms of Service

Last updated June 3, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of accessibilitywebsite.com (the “Service”). By creating an account, running a scan, or subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. The Service

accessibilitywebsite.com provides automated web accessibility scanning against WCAG 2.2 and related standards, AI-generated remediation guidance, an optional on-site assistive widget, monitoring, and reporting tools. Automated testing can detect many—but not all—accessibility issues. We are honest about this: no automated tool, including ours, can guarantee legal compliance or catch every barrier. Human review is required for full conformance.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

Paid plans are billed annually in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee shown at checkout, plus any taxes. Unless you cancel, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each annual term at the then-current price. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard or by contacting us; cancellation stops the next renewal and your paid features remain active until the end of the current paid period.

Prices are validated server-side and may change for future terms with notice. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scan websites you do not own or lack permission to test;
  • use the Service to overload, attack, or disrupt any system;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the Service; or
  • use outputs to deceive users about a site's true accessibility status.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the URLs, site data, and reports associated with your account. You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide and improve the Service. We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that scan results are complete or that use of the Service will make any website fully compliant with the ADA, WCAG, Section 508, EN 301 549, or any other law. Accessibility compliance is your responsibility and may require manual auditing and code changes. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, accessibilitywebsite.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any claims arising from accessibility-related litigation against your site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though sections that by their nature should survive (billing, disclaimers, liability) will continue to apply.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
